The
Kiwi Coders Corporation Model 2712 Manual Feed Bag Printer can eliminate
both the need for costly inventories of preprinted bags and the high labor
cost of hand-applied labels or stenciling.
“Just in time” machine printing of bags ensures accurate
reproduction of necessary ingredient statements and variable information,
as well as a quality logo that reinforces the producer’s professional
image.
The
Model 2712 prints bags from 6 inches to 27 inches in width and from 16
inches to 46 inches in length. Information
can be imprinted at any position within the print area. The printer can
imprint multi-wall paper bags, polyethylene bags and rigid flat sheets and
printer includes a print-on-demand feed feature and a no bag, no print
system.
Choose either a manual feed
or an optional automatic vacuum feed systems (Model VF) to print bags at
speeds up to 30 bags per minute. Model
2712 features a single-revolution, clutch-driven print cylinder 40 inches in
circumference and 27 inches wide. Kiwi’s Channelok or Baselock type
systems may be used, as well as magnetic-backed printing dies or mats. The
inking system is a two-roller flexographic process. Power requirement is 230
Volt, 50/60 Hz single phase. The motor is a 1 HP totally enclosed,
variable-speed drive. The
printer requires floor space of only 55 inches wide by 60 inches long.
